Air pollution in Schools

You must be well aware about the rising indoor air pollution and must be using an air purifier for home and office. But are your kids free from air pollution? They spend many hours in school and they are not exceptions to indoor air pollution.

About 55 million children around the world spend much of their time in elementary and secondary schools. You must be well aware that children grow from infancy to adolescence. During this period they should be provided healthy environment and nutritious food for their development. But poor indoor air quality is an obstacle in the proper growth of your child. As children are more prone to diseases the pollutants in the air affect their health faster. This will hinder their physical and mental development. In my earlier blog I have mentioned the types of diseases that we encounter due to pollutants in the air. These diseases will make way for poor concentration and attendance at school. Your kids can suffer from one or more of those if they are not prevented from being in the unhealthy environment. Make sure that the schools your kids go to take proper precautions to avoid impure air and are using indoor air filters.

As a parent you would always wish good health for your kids. You can suggest committee members of the schools to use indoor air purifiers. If you are a school owner then you must be aiming for the safety and good health of your students and staff members. Oxynet Solutions provide you with a range of air cleaners. You can use them to make your school environment healthy.

Air fresheners pollute the air too

Air fresheners are used by most of us to get rid of bad odors indoors. There are many who assume that air fresheners purify the air. Quite a few people know that air fresheners can pollute the air too. It is really weird to know that one which makes the air fresh actually pollutes the air. How can polluted air be fresh? To make indoor air fresh the use of air purifiers is advisable.

Air fresheners are common in almost everyone’s home and office. Hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, malls and other places, everywhere air fresheners are used. Actually chemicals present in air fresheners are cause of many diseases. The most dangerous chemical is phthalates. Contact with these chemicals result in irritation of eyes and skin, fatigue as well as respiratory problems. You can also suffer from Asthma on account of using air fresheners. This is not enough extreme use or air fresheners can cause cancer which is hardly curable. Children and elderly people are more prone to diseases. We at Oxynet Solutions understand your problem. We look forward to keep you and your family free from air borne diseases. Odor control air purifiers will prevent harmful odors from entering your body and will keep you away from diseases.

There are many indoor air filters available in the market but buy air filters which are harmless. Avoid buying ionic air purifiers because they produce ozone gas. This gas gives rise to many serious health problems. The products of Oxynet Solution are ozone free. They are safe and medically approved.

Candles can be harmful too

Candles are used frequently in our houses. Reasons for using them may differ, it could be due to power cut or a candle lit dinner. Did you ever know that burning candles contribute towards polluting the air? It sounds strange but the fact is that even candles produce harmful air pollutants. Thankfully, air purifiers keep our environment healthy.

A burning candle does produce health hazards. The severity of these hazards will depend upon the chemicals used while making candles. Scientific testing has proved that candles can discharge pollutants such as acetone, benzene, lead, soot and particulate matter. These chemicals are used for making the internal structure and for the wax composition of a candle. The colour and scent added in the candle also cause the pollution of the air. To sustain the flame and draw the wax towards the heat source, a combustible string of fiber is used. Sometimes structures of candles are made using lead-core metal so that the candle would not collapse when the wax melts. This lead–core mixes with the air when burnt making the air polluted. The quality of wax used for making candles also plays a pivotal role in making the air unhealthy. Using air cleaners will keep your indoor air clean and healthy.

HEPA air purifiers by Oxynet Solutions will fight with the problem of the air pollution. We are one of the best air purifier companies in Dubai. Our indoor air filters are made using the most advanced technology available. The filters used in our machines can remove 99.97% of all airborne particulate matter.
