Beware of rising levels of carbon dioxide

The air indoors is a matter of concern. Indoor air pollution is growing day by day giving rise in the usage of air cleaners. Using an air purifier is an easiest way to fight with indoor air pollution. There are many substances which contribute in polluting the air. Carbon dioxide gas is one of the reasons of indoor air pollution.

Carbon dioxide is a gas formed due to metabolic activities, combustion activities and motor vehicles in garage. It is called dry ice in solid form. Carbon dioxide is not toxic itself. It is found in many products that we use in our houses moreover it is a product of human and animal respiration so it is found everywhere. Have a look at a few things where carbon dioxide is used:

· As a food preservative

· In carbonated beverages

· Fire extinguisher

· In chemical processing

· For low temperature testing of aviation, missile and electronic components

There are many health problems we suffer from when we are living in the atmosphere with high carbon dioxide level. It is next to impossible to remove unwanted amount of carbon dioxide. The only solution is to use air purifiers.

Indoor air purifiers by Oxynet Solutions are very effective in keeping your home clean. History of HEPA air purifiers

Indoor air pollution causes many serious diseases. We see many people around us suffering from asthma and various allergies. Asthma air purifiers and allergy air purifiers are made especially for the people suffering from these diseases. Indoor air pollution is increasing day by day. Today air cleaners and air purifiers are well known and are used in almost all homes and offices. But let us try to understand when this idea of using air cleaners came into existence.

You might be in an assumption that using air cleaner is a new craze. But in reality different types of air purification systems are used for more than 200 years. Since the 1800’s, scientists all over the world have been working on various methods to make our air purer. Today many types of indoor air purifiers are available but the safest of them is HEPA air purifier. Formerly HEPA filters were used by soldiers for protection from radioactive particles on the battlefield. But they were not effective in fighting with radioactive particles. Later on studies proved that HEPA filters are best for the protection from chlorine gas, mustard gas, and flame throwers. In the year 1960 Department of Energy officially standardized the qualifications and the name "High Efficiency Particulate Air”. Department of Energy states that HEPA filters remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns at 85 litres per minute.

The products by Oxynet Solutions are made using HEPA filters. While buying an air purifier for home, make sure that they have HEPA filters.

Knowing the chemical: Formaldehyde

We have this belief that indoor air is less contaminated than outdoor air. But the fact is that indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air. There are various chemicals present in indoor air which makes it unhealthy and impure. Try using air cleaners for making indoor air pure.

Formaldehyde is a type of chemical. This chemical is ubiquitous in nature so it is present everywhere in your environment. It is found in items like particle board, pressed wood products, paper products, grocery bags, waxed paper, facial tissues, paper towels, stiffeners, permanent-press clothes, carpet backings, wrinkle resisters, water repellents, adhesive binders in floor coverings and fire retardants. It is also found in most of the cleaning materials we use in our houses. Heating and cooking fuels like natural gas and kerosene contain Formaldehyde. Cigarette smoke is not an exception. This chemical causes health problems like:

· Dampness of eyes, nose and throat membrane

· Skin allergies

· Irritation of eyes

· Headache

Above listed are the most common complaints found due to the contact with Formaldehyde. The most grievous diseases reported due to long term contact with this chemical are Asthma and throat cancer. You need to have pollutant free environment to keep yourself away from diseases. Our asthma air purifier and allergy air purifier will help in dealing with these health hazards.

We at Oxynet Solutions provide you with a range of air purifiers. We have chemical control air purifier which will help in fighting with these types of chemicals. Our HEPA filters will keep your indoor environment fresh.
