History of HEPA air purifiers

Indoor air pollution causes many serious diseases. We see many people around us suffering from asthma and various allergies. Asthma air purifiers and allergy air purifiers are made especially for the people suffering from these diseases. Indoor air pollution is increasing day by day. Today air cleaners and air purifiers are well known and are used in almost all homes and offices. But let us try to understand when this idea of using air cleaners came into existence.

You might be in an assumption that using air cleaner is a new craze. But in reality different types of air purification systems are used for more than 200 years. Since the 1800’s, scientists all over the world have been working on various methods to make our air purer. Today many types of indoor air purifiers are available but the safest of them is HEPA air purifier. Formerly HEPA filters were used by soldiers for protection from radioactive particles on the battlefield. But they were not effective in fighting with radioactive particles. Later on studies proved that HEPA filters are best for the protection from chlorine gas, mustard gas, and flame throwers. In the year 1960 Department of Energy officially standardized the qualifications and the name "High Efficiency Particulate Air”. Department of Energy states that HEPA filters remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns at 85 litres per minute.

The products by Oxynet Solutions are made using HEPA filters. While buying an air purifier for home, make sure that they have HEPA filters.

Does your home require an air purifier?

You might have read or heard a lot about air purifiers and how they are good for people especially in UAE. This may be because of the increasing number of people choosing to use one. Even if you knew the benefits of an indoor air purifier, there are chances that you might still not want to bring one home.

Noted below are some of the good reasons to get one for you home and family.

1. Cleaning up the house is fine. But what will you do about the smoke and other toxins floating about in the air? Only a chemical control air purifier will be able to get rid of such dangerous pollutants that linger in the air for a long time.

2. Allergy air purifiers can eliminate even potentially dangerous pollutants like molds and animal dander. Some people can easily go through their day breathing these impurities. But pollutants like these could severely affect some others. The conclusion is that even if you think you can pass each day without one, it is not so… No one has benefited from breathing impure air.

This air purifier works well for those with allergies and asthmas, making your home a healthier place to live in.

3. More individuals are concerned with their health now-a-days. This can only mean that you will be able to find more retailers in your area selling air purifiers. There is also the other option of buying an air purifier online.

We at Oxynet Solutions continuously demonstrate our concern towards people concerned about their health. That is why we sell, install and service some of the best air purifiers in UAE. Visit our website for more details.

Beware of the Dust Mite

If you are an allergy sufferer, many people might have pass on their opinion about you suffering from dust or dust mites. The range of the size of dust particles vary. They can easily be removed with the help of a dust removal air purifier. It is the dust mites that pose a bigger threat. What are dust mites?

Dust mites are 0.3 millimeters long and you probably won’t be able to see one with the naked eye. This also means that may of these 8 legged creatures are keeping you company without you knowing it. They just remind you of their presence by making you experience allergy symptoms like a runny nose, itchy eyes, sinusitis, etc. Dust mites are nest building creatures that thrive on discarded skin cells in damp dark places. Thus a bed is the best place for them to thrive. The enzymes in the fecal matter trigger allergy symptoms in us. (Each mite drops 20 times per day.) These enzymes have been responsible for many asthma related deaths. Dust mites cause considerable health problems in us, but we can get rid of them using an air purifier.

Dust mites thrive on mattresses, pillows as well as carpets. When we use these objects these mites become air borne very easily. Thus the application of an indoor air purifier in your home is a must. It is a way that works well to provide relief. Try the effective allergy air purifiers at Oxynet Solutions. Visit our website for more details.

Allergies and Air Purifiers

Allergies have a history that dates back to the early 3300 BC. Britannicus, the son of the Roman Emperor Claudius was allergic to horses. He would develop a rash and his eyes would swell making it unable for him to see where he was going. Earlier, many were afraid to consume, shellfish or milk for the hives these foods left on a few people. But today, we have become knowledgeable enough to understand that these foods don’t harm everyone.

Allergy is basically a disorder of the immune system. Some allergic reactions include conjunctivitis, runny nose and sinusitis. The causes of such allergies are abnormal physical over reactions to allergens like dust, pollen, nuts, bees, etc. These allergens are just normally harmless substances that can be life threatening to some if not treated immediately. Developing allergies is also seasonal to some extent. If you had it last year, there is a good chance you might have it again this year during the same season. Employing an air purifier for your relief is a good way to prepare for the new season. An allergy air purifier can only help while you are indoors. Therefore, you also need to take care of your self outdoors. The pollen and pollution you face only aggravates the symptoms. An air cleaner is especially necessary for children with allergies. They usually need to concentrate in class. They have a tough time getting things done because of the excess sneezing, coughing and uneasiness.

This is why we need to take the advice of a doctor and take interest in long term control of this physical over reaction. A vast majority of doctors recommend HEPA air purifiers. Many companies sell such air purifiers one better than the other. Visit our website to find out more about how Oxynet Solutions can help you.
